    The Chicken Gold Camp & Outpost, a friendly, relaxed, off-the-highway resort, is located on a scenic bench of Chicken Creek in the center of Chicken. The “Gold Camp”, which prides itself in clean, well-maintained facilities, offers the following amenities:

  • 20 amp electric, pull-thru sites available

  • FREE wireless internet throughout the campground

  • Showers

  • Tables & fire rings Moose cow and calf at Chicken, Alaska

  • FREE firewood

  • Separate tenting sites

  • Dump station

  • Potable water

  • Separate Caravan park with 25 electric sites (13 pull-thrus and 12 back-ins)

  • Pavilion

  • Large barbecue grill

  • Planned group activities

Rates:
* $28 per night for 24 hr serviced sites
* $14 per night for dry camping

    The Outpost, a café, espresso bar and gift store, is located in the “Gold Camp” as well as rental cabins. Available activities include hiking, gold panning, recreational mining, historical tours, boating and more.
